FROM THE BEGINNING..
In 1999 Friulcarni s.a.s. was founded in Basiliano (UD) with the aim to develop new international markets for the beef meat trade. Meat trade is a job that started in the Battilana family for the first time with the father Luigi that has handed down this passion to his sons, Cristian and Carlo. From a little provincial reality Cristian and Carlo have been able to create an industrial slaughterhouse, which follows the European norms and which is mainly focused on beef meat exportations not only in Europe, but also in Asia and Africa. Placed in an important agricultural area outside Udine, the slaughterhouse Friulcarni enjoys a strategic geographical position near the border with Austria and Slovenia, countries with which has established in the years many important commercial relations. The same importance have also the contacs with the Balcanian countries, which are another crucial zone for out exports. The company Friulcarni comprehends the slaughterhouse, the cutting rooms and the cold storage, occupying an area of 13.000 m�. In this building we produce all beef cuts, that are packaged and stored fresh or frozen. Our production is industrial and for this reason it is possible for us to debone and cut many tons of beef meat in a short time. Together with Friulcarni s.a.s. there is also its sister company Friulcarni Logistics s.r.l., an international transport company created with the double aim to give a complete service to the clients, from the production until the delivery of the product, and also to give a transport service for hire or reward. Every week we plan Groupage in Germany, Holland and Belgium, but there is also the possibility to organize full loads with delivery all over Europe. Friulcarni is able to offer a qualitative product which satisfies every request respecting the European health regulations. We offer a lot of services guaranteeing always reliability and quality, keywords in our job.
